WCUW - "Under the Influence"

Greetings all - a little bit of self promotion AND a cry for help!

I am scheduled to appear on a radio show called "Under the Influence" on February 24 at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (Boston Massachusetts)

The radio station is a small community station sponsored by the local college (Clark University - Worcester, MA). The link to their website and streaming link is below:

http://www.wcuw.org

The show is hosted by Valerie Sampson, whose husband is Jeff Sampson, co-founder of the ambient experimental band called "Embracing the Glass". The show features local artists who talk about and play some of their influences and some of their own material. I can't actually play, since I'm still recovering from wrist surgery, but I'll be there yakking about Frank Zappa, Sonny Sharrock, Kiss, Slayer, Ministry, Tangerine Dream, etc.

I really want to record the show, and I hope the radio station can figure out how to record the show at the station, but I am also hoping that some of you can record it and post a link for me, if possible. I obviously can't record it myself, so if anyone else out there in SONARland can do it, and post a link, please let me know.

Hope you can listen!

    Dimaension X,

ask the engineer at the studio to record it. Check first through your contact, then offer to provide whatever media is easiest for the engineer. They should do it, they just don't advertise it since they would spend all their time dubbing for guests.

Also check to see if they do a web cast - maybe you can download that.

As it turned out, the radio station WAS able to record my interview, which I have in turn, uploaded and made available for streaming and downloading at the following link:

    http://www.archive.org/details/under_the_influence_interview

Now you get to hear me ramble on almost endlessly about my various influences, etc., for TWO hours, you are so lucky.

Kidding aside, this interview was really a blast to do - I had a lot of fun, and it really made me think about my musical influences and inspirations.
