[WEB site misleading] Help needed with Addictive Drums 2
I just purchased an Addictive Drums producer bundle that included 3 ADpacs, misc stuff, and an upgrade to Addictive Drums 2. Although the installation was uneventful using their installer, I cannot use the ADpacs I have used with AD previously with AD2. It seems that the programs do not know where all the sound files are on my computer. I used the advanced settings in the installer to indicate where the old and new ADpacs are located in my file system, the installer updates the files and states that they are up to date. The problem is once again is that I can only use my previously purchased ADpacs with AD, and the new ADpacs with AD2. I've sent emails to support, but so far no response. Any help would be appreciated. Walt

They are pretty good with support...I'd give them a little time. It's 2 or 3 am. over there.

Thanks! I sent them an email over the weekend. Maybe they're busy, but I was hoping that someone on the forum could point me in the right direction. Walt

I'm not sure. Maybe someone will come that knows more than me. I wouldn't want to start guessing about it. Xln has always provided me with excellent support...so maybe they will contact you soon.

I was informed by XNL support that although the $179 Producer Bundle comes with Addictive Drums2, if you REALLY want to it to work with the old ADpacs you REALLY have to upgrade to Addictive Drums 2 for an additional $80!
It's not the money, but I don't like being mislead, intentional or not. All they've managed to do is lose a customer.

I was afraid this may be the case, but didn't want to guess about it.
