Wacom Tablet Support in X1

I use a wacom tablet and find it to be excellent and easier than mousing for DAWs. In Sonar it doesn't work so well with the knob and slider values being far to sensitive. Cubase is perfect and in Live, there is a tweak which makes it perfect as well.

But so far nothing for Sonar. It would be wonderful if this were implemented properly.

sonar does not haave usable implementation of touch screen technology YET

pray that they fix that in X1C or some other soon release.

be it tablet, or touchscreen display in vista or W7, it is not usable for sonars faders or kknobs.

many of the plugins made by sonar like the vocal and percussion strip work perfectly with touch tech

    get it together please!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks

In X1 Expanded, the Saturation Knob and the pots in the PC4K EXP/GATE react properly to my wacom tablet!!!

    But still nothing else......

    C'mon you guys...

If this can work in Cubase and Live, and now in your new ProChannel plugins, you can make it work in the rest of the program!

    What is the hold up??

I  notice the same with my Wacom Bamboo. I rely on this thing to prevent "mouse arm". Would be nice to use the pen for the sliders and knobs in the mixer without having to set the Bamboo to "Mouse Mode"...

All in all, still a great tool for mousing, even in Sonar

+1  With a little practice the Wacom Bamboo with its pen is a great input tool for the PRV and audio editing.  Around $70 at most retailers.

I'm rocking the Wacom in SONAR 8.5.

    It's my main controller.

He said Bamboo very clearly to me... This is a old thread and the members might be long gone... Sonar now supports touch screen.
