Wamirack and x1 will not work together

I see that someone else had this problem, but after reading the thread it seems like it just magically fixed its self.
I am using Windows 7 64 bot with Sonar X1 Producer. I have the ESI wamiRack 192X as a sound card. This sound card is capable of recoeding 24 bit @ 196 KHZ. I have downloaded all the newest drivers. When I go into Sonar Preferences, Driver settings, and select driver bit depth at 24 bit w/ 64 bit double precision engine, I get a message that says " the default audio format is not compatable with one or more sound cards. It has been reset to 44100 HZ (16 bit), as suggested by the driver. " I have never had this problem before and I would like it to go away. lol When I go into wave profiler I get an ok on wami Rack 192 Audio (5in, 5 out) on all frequencies and bit rates aside from 11025 HZ. This is on WDM/KS.

When I try ASIO I cannot change the bit depth at all. When I try to record I get a garbled mess that sounds like clicking and ticking with a little signal mixed in.

I have had no luch in WASAPI or MME 32 bit either. I have gone into Windows Device Manager and disabled all other audio drivers as well.

When I go into Windows (manage audio devices) Recording, Microphone it says (currently Unavailable.) , and when I go further into properties the default format only gives me two channel options in all bit rates and frequencies. It used to give me 10 in and 10 out.

Anyone have any ideas?

Avery, the wamirack 192x will work with x1, I have been using it for a couple of months.  I run it on xp 32 bit though.  I did have a similar problem at one time with x1 when I switched from Sonar 8.3 ..  I couldn't get it to recognize the soundcard.  It would continuously revert my soundcard to 44khz.  It also affected 8.3.  Obviously it had something to do with the transition from 8.3 to X1.  I had to run the sonar profiler a few times and then lo and behold after about 4 tries it just started working.  It also began to work in 8.5. Sadly I not only don't know how I broke it, I don't know how I fixed it!!  Good luck.
