Was there a Feb. update? (answered)
Sorry to be confused. I've read about the 2 pre-release versions and now I'm reading something about a 3rd version. Is this version 3 the actual release or are they skipping Feb. and focusing on March?

No Feb update til tpday. I appreciate that the bakers are working so hard to make Splat that stable and are delivering monthly, don´t care about a delay for some days . Better a stable update as a crashing . No problem if there would not be a Feb update . Don´t need a monthly update.

The February comping update is quite far-reaching, and the early access uncovered some issues that required fixing. I agree that it's good Cakewalk is prioritizing stability over meeting an arbitrary date. There is another scheduled update for March.

I think so also. Give me stability over bells and whistles.
The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better. OK, thanks for the info, I'll sit tight. I'm also happy that they've decided to put quality first.

That was back when I looked forward to updates. Not so much in the last few months.

Yep. I also remember when we weren't expected to pay for those updates without first knowing what they were likely to be and having them tested more thoroughly before release.

Yes, I got the update too, but if you look at the version, it says: 23.1.00 build 32 [2017.01]. So maybe it was a steam related update or something. Would be cool if they provided some info about it.

Is the February update delayed or will the updates go in the March update? It's hugely appreciated that Cakewalk made such a good choice not to release the update when problems were found.

It looks like that update was a common VC redist update performed by Valve. They manage all of those installers. https://steamdb.info/app/380080/history/
Check out change #2754730 We're still only in early access for 02.2017 on Steam.

Me too. I'd rather have thoughtful updates that really improve SONAR rather than something that fits a schedule. But that's just me.
