Also, with the $99 plugins you get a $100 voucher good for
up to 50 percent off bundles or upgrades or 25 percent of individual plugins...

That's like getting them for free....and FREE is good...LOL

Do I see Bass Rider going for $50?!! That's one of the very few 3rd party plugs on my wish list these days. Hopefully they'll have a crazy bargain on their C4 soon. :P

If I had the money I'd be all over Mercury right now...

There are a bunch of plugs I'd like to buy in this sale too,
    like Bass Rider...

But I'm out of cash (and work) so, unless I find a job
here real quick, there won't be any buying anything...=(

I did, however, just buy Indie AD ADPak at JRRShop for $35 because
it's buy one and get one free....couldn't not buy it...even though I
    shouldn't have...

I just moved back to Michigan to take care of my Mom...
so am currently looking for work...

The Adpak sounds like a good deal, I'll check it out. Waves will have more promos to come.
Good luck with the job situation & wish your mother well.

Hope things work out for you and your mum.
I saw on another thread you're going to get Black Velvet  - I got that plus the matching Loud Midi pack (you can get them as a bundle) and I love them - really are alive and sound BIG!!

With Waves stuff - I sort of fell out of love with Waves after they ripped me off with the Original GTR software - all sorts of compatibility issues and bugs when released and of course Waves were just so ARROGANT back then, they made me PAY to upgrade to get it to work. Needless to say they didn't get much in the way of business from me since then.
But it does seem they may have changed a bit - I hope they have.
I own Gold / GTR and few other bits - have just enquired re upgrade to Mercury - will be interested to see how much that is!!

    Nigel,

Did you inquire at AD?  I know that my upgrade @Waves to Mercury from Platinum is $1400...

So I'd guess that the upgrade at AD would be about a grand....which I'd jump all over if given the
chance...that's probably the one that pays for itself the most..because you get just about
everything new that comes out for free...

Thanks for the vote of confidence...we do what we must....

Oh yeah...I'm looking forward to Black Velvet....I listened to the demo's
    and they sound great...

I find I get the best sounds with the least effort with AD....and I own just about every
    Drum Sampler out there...

But, as they say, that's just my opinion...and they're like A**holes...everyone
    has one...LOL

I think they are.  I was using Vocal Rider on bass tracks and it worked OK, but when I tried BR it won handily.  Preserves the attack and sounds more natural on bass than VR, I found.  At $40, it's a steal.

Derned if the thing doesn't work a treat.  It's just the bee's knees.  Heck, if Vocal Rider is as good I'm gonna have to wait for a sale on it too.

Glad to hear it, ol pal.  VR is also nice, but there are alternatives:

    http://www.hor-net.com/plugins/hornet-autogain.html

    http://www.meldaproduction.com/plugins/product.php?id=MAutoVolume

The thing with VR is that the sidechain function is implemented with VST3, which Sonar doesn't support.  That's not the case with these other plugins ... their sidechains work fine.  Cheaper, too.  Thread about the Hornet:
