It looks like this installer is both the woli (to install products)and license manager all in one which is a good thing.

I think it will be/could be a good thing.

Anyone installed it yet ?

It says in one of the vid's that if you install it on a computer which already has Waves products, it will uninstall all of them first. I'm not to keen on this, as all my Waves stuff works flawlessly, and has always, and I would like to keep it that way, don't really want to touch it, but to update to v9.6 and beyond Waves Central is the only bus at the station.

You'll have to go there eventually, but I'd wait a few months and let the early adopters work out the kinks.

Dan's right. I don't care enough either way to test it.

I did it all tonight but had to reinstall everything. This necessitated having to delete the Appdata/Roaming/Waves Audio folder so that a reinstallation would work properly.

A usual symptom fixed by this is when you are asked for the Waves v9 folder in a never ending loop you can't resolve.

I installed it last night. I had just bought a new plug. I had to reinstall  my 6 old plugs. The new plug went in great. Reinstalling really did not take long, as long as it is not a frequent routine, I think I this installer/licenser is fine.

I installed it but didn't run it. Everything is still there and seems to be working just fine.

I installed it and ran it. I clicked on my computer in the new waves center and selected all my waves plugins and sent them to the cloud. After that I selected the cloud to see if the plugins were there , and they were. I selected the plugins in the cloud and brought them back to my computer. I then deleted the old waves center program. Went into sonar and all my plugins still work. No problems here with the new program.

Well I bit the bullet and installed Waves Central, it didn't uninstall all the old stuff as I thouhgt it would from what I seen in the vid's, but apparently it will do that for you if you choose the easy install /activate button, the one on the left. So I just put all my licenses to the cloud, uninstalled, removed any left folders, installed Central, pulled my licenses back, and all my plugs (updated to latest), easy as, no issues, and I feel Central is better than the old 2 woli and LM
