Waves GTR 3 in Sonar X1

Hey everyone.I am trying to control Waves GTR 3 within Sonar X1D turn stomp boxes on and off use wah etc. I have The Behringer FCB1010 midi controller midi out going into midi in on Tascam US 1641. As standalone I have it working.But as a VST in Sonar it does not work. If anyone knows how to do this would be helpful.

    Does Sonar see it in its list of active midi controllers?

    It shows the interface where the controller in connected to. I also have a midi keyboard that is on the list.I have checked input and output.Dont see anything for the fcb1010 though.I tried configure as synth but does not show up on soft synth list.

    Set up a ACT controller and set it's input to be your midi controller. You can then go into the Act thingy and find the parameter you need to automate and tell it to learn, then do your pedal. I just used gtr rig the same way for the Wah wah pedal. Some plugins let you learn from inside there Gui, but you have to set up ACT controller first. In gtr rig, to record the foot automation (wah wah) I had to enable Automation write while recording.
