Something every interesting just occured.  I went to the Waves Site to check out the video...
As I as waiting...an additional box appeared under the "Buy" box that said "Make an Offer"...

I took the bait and clicked through to the make offer dialog.  You can actually submit an offer but the dialog tells you that you have only one chance to submit.  Then as you put in different figures a box below keeps saying "too low"...at least mine did because I never put in more than $49 bucks.  I didn't submit an offer so I could probably go back and "play the game" some more but it's not much fun.

Well, I played (not necessarily to buy, but to see what price they would take).
 
I made an offer of $79.  It replied with a no, but then said it would take $90.

Haggling with individuals over 1 plugin seems kind of rinky dink. Discounters are still cheaper so it doesn't really affect me.
