Not that I use Waves stuff anymore but this seems a bit of a con even for them - have I understood correctly - this is not anything new, this is just a collection of old ' already in use plug ins, gathered together and given a shiny new name??

Hand picked by the man himself. He's getting paid for those 5 minutes work.

Imagine if they did the toolbox of some on here.

And here's the 1700 plug-ins I use at an intro price of $15,000.

If Waves expects to survive long term, they're going to have to start showing a little more respect for the intelligence of consumers.

Or (shudder) maybe the market really is that gullible.

Or - maybe it's all true, and all anyone needs to do is use the same plugins at Katy Perry's engineer, then sit back and watch the big bux roll in!  Sob...I coulda been a contender...but I was using the wrong EQ.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

At the risk of being labeled a Waves fanboy ...

I found the video interesting, even though it's not my usual genre.  Some useful tips in there, and the guy seems to know his stuff.

This bundle would cost much more if you bought the plugins separately, even at sale prices, so it seems like a decent deal if you were interested in those.  The H-delay, H-EQ, Vocal Rider, and NLS are some of Waves' better offerings and useful for any style of music.  So, while not the most exciting news, this isn't quite an epic fail, IMHO.

    Eddie,

Thanks for the tip on watching the video - I missed that little link. I too thought that the bundle was a nice grouping for a decent deal. Not something I'm looking for (imagine that), but if you wanted the plugs it's a good way to get scattering of them at a discount.

then again, I am a recent Waves convert and I'm really digging ma' waves so I just might be a "fan boy"! :)
