Waves Plugins in X2 64bit

I have a few Waves plugins, the CLA compressors and Musician 2 bundles. I notice in the video tutorials I watched on the CLA comps that there are more buttons above the plugin such as bypass etc.. I don't have a bypass or the other buttons. Protools is use in the tutorials. Is this something Protools adds to the plugin GUI? Does the host determin some features of plugin GUI's? Doesn't make sense but it seems to be host dependent.

    There may be a difference between the RTAS (or the new AAX for Pro tools 10) version which Pro Tools uses exclusively and VST which SONAR and other PC DAWs use.

    That makes more sense to me than what Waves supprt said. That it depends on the host. Maybe he  meant what you said.

    I noticed the same thing with CLA comps. No bypass for the 2A and 3A. Very strange that a basic function would depend on the host.
