    I generally like the sounds I get out of CLA Guitars better than GTR3, but there are a lot of useful stomps and stuff in GTR3.  For the ultimate guitar fx toybox (great for other things, too), check out Guitar Rig.
     
    But for sheer sound quality and realism, none of these can match more advanced packages like Scuffham or even Amplitube, IMHO.
