Waves files suddenly crashing Sonar

This is odd since I've not changed anything.  Sonar works just fine until I try to load a Waves plugin, and then it freezes.  Reloaded latest waveshell files from waves.com with, but same result.  Rebooted multiple times.  Old Sonar files with Waves plugins only load in safe mode.  Any ideas?  THANKS!

Never mind.  Only THOUGHT I hadn't changed anything.  Was testing out an old Novation control surface with Automap software and it created waveshell automap files that were still left to clean up after automap was removed.  Problem solved...

Hi. Did you upgrade any Waves plugins lately? I haven't seen any of your issues.
Do you use Vst2 or 3 plugins?
    All the best.

Thx for jumping on this.  Honestly, I tried to find a solution for over an hour before posting.  Finally just went through all Sonar's scanned VST folders until I found something odd...

I have had a problem with my computer just shutting down and restarting with no notice.  While I am using sonar with waves plug ins.  (not saying only when using waves)  I wonder if it is related
