Wavesfactory strummed electric 12-string

I have their strummed acoustic and although limited, it's easy to use and cheap. If the new one's like the one I have, you've got up- and down-strums for every major and minor chord assigned to 24 MIDI notes, with multiple velocity layers and round-robins. This new one apparently includes double-tracked strums as well.

$16.80.

Requires full Kontakt version 3.5 or higher.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Their audio demos didn't wow me.  Anybody who's bought this, please "chime" in and let us know how you think it sounds.

You're right, there's not a huge WOW factor there. You're not going to use it for a cover of Tambourine Man. I've got a few OK electric 12-string samples already, and they're not very versatile either. But I do use them, mostly to pan opposite another electric rhythm guitar for texture. It's just another tonal choice to have in the palette.
