Mercury Piano Info (from Gearslutz):
System requirements: 33GB of available space, the library runs in Kontakt Player (no need to buy the full version of Kontakt). Then there are some recommendations like SSD drive and a powerful processor, Mercury can be a CPU hog if using HQ mode and all microphone positions. I'm getting 25% with all microphones, HQ and heavy playing in an i7. Without HQ it goes down to 8% and with just one mic position it goes to 5%.
You can always play/compose/record with one microphone and no HQ and then turn all on for rendering. Due to the vast amount of options and features available it can be light or heavy, but it's all controllable.

Price: €149

How much did they go up? I was looking at suspended cymbals before but held off buying.

Really looking forward to Mercury though

The uploader has not made this video available in your country.
I'm sure it was cool anyway!  :)

Great Stuff but, I was thinking of the 'Grand Funk Railroad' tune "Jesus Is Just Alright"

So is there anything you can share about your time with the Mercury Library?

It's fantastic. I'm absolutely in love with it and it's become my goto piano even though I don't yet have the final NI encoded version. What I love about the Mercury is the character it has. We all know that you can have ten versions of an instrument and you still gravitate towards using one of them since it has that thing you like. The Mercury has that in the tone.

It has a nice amount of controls over the noises etc included in playing a real piano. Nothing like Imperfect Samples which seem to be more about the noises, but the releases of pedals etc can be controlled nicely.

The Metropolis Plate reverbs are good (though I do use Eventide's Blackhole on all of my piano tracks) and you can get very subtle and intimate or huge AF with them.

Overall it's a really well balanced piano with great character and it's fully capable of conjuring soft cinematic moods, grandiose classical passages or hard hitting rock anthems. :)

Edit: Do remember to take my words with a grain of salt as I am somewhat connected to Wavesfactory. :)

I wish I would have bought more at the old prices. These new prices are too much for me. A lot of them tripled in price.
