[Way OT]- dream car?
mine......2006 honda s2000. I have wanted one of these for several years now...but havnt been able to afford one. I dont know why...but I would take an s2000 over any car out on the market hands down...with out even thinking about it. even if someone gave me a viper...i would sell it, buy my s2000...then use the rest of the money to build it up. and now this is the last year they will be making the s2000...... i hope someday i will be able to get one.... so...whats your dream car?

I haven't done a whole lot of thinking about a dream car I would get, because I'm looking to get a cheap ish car soon. I'm looking at either a Mazda 3 (5-door - I think hatchback/wagons look awesome for some reason), or maybe a Scion tC. Something small, quick, easy on the gas. After those maybe I'll look at a Civic, but everyone's got one of those! I really want a manual transmission even though I've only really driven manual for about 30 minutes total. I'm worried about going for a test drive and getting stuck on a hill :).

Seriously looking toward getting a Mazda RX-8 in the next year...whether I can afford it or not remains to be seen, but it is within the realms of possibility.

Ah johann, I see we have yet one more thing in common. Madison is the home of Oscar Meyer - and yes, you guessed it, The Weinermobile (TM). I've literally seen the thing driving down the street here. It is in fact my dream car. Just ask my wife, she'll verify my story. semi on topic, I was once driving on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago one day and saw Bozo the Clown (TM) driving a car. I kid you not. there's no mistaking the blaze orange flying nun hair and blue outfit with big white collar that defines Bozo's look. Eric

I live in a big city, and love NOT owning a car (not that i could afford one anyway). A good friend just bought an Aston Martin Vanquish. It's pretty nice. Terrible on gas, and he just had a transmission problem that would have cost $7,000 if it wasn't under warranty.

A guy I work for has a collection of classic cars. A couple of '60s Aston Martins (one of those is worth more than my house..way more..), some Porsches, an E-Type Jag, a Ferrari, a WWII Hotchkiss Jeep, a late '50's beach buggy...3 tractors, an old Range Rover...they interest me not one bit. Never could 'get' the car thing.
