Ways to connect $40 mic to Olympus LS-10?
About two months ago a thread was created with the subject
Best Hand-held Recorder??
In that thread someone mentioned the Olympus LS-10, which seems like a nice handheld recorder. The
$40 MIC That Kicks A$$
has captured my interest, and people seem quite happy with the mics.
Is there a way to connect two of the $40 mics to an Olympus LS-10 to provide a stereo signal for recording? The recorder and microphones seem like they would be a great portable combination. I do not do any live recording. All of my work so far is with MIDI. So, don't make any assumptions about my level of understanding.
The microphones are XLR, I believe, and the Olympus LS-10 has a 2 KOhm 3.5mm stereo external microphone jack. I'm guessing that a preamp of some kind would be involved. I'm interested in an inexpensive solution, if at all possible. A $500 preamp is way out of the ballpark for me.
Thanks for any suggestions or ideas.

How's $79?

You will need a stereo-mini to dual 1/4" adapter cable (also cheap). A channel-insert cable (like for a mixer) will also work using a stereo 1/4" to 1/8" adapter.
Edit: Make that $60 (and actually in stock)

Wow, thanks! That's exactly the kind of solution I was hoping to find.

You're welcome. I was actually kinda surprised at how reasonable the price came out. Probably because there's no converter/computer interface involved.
