I tried to listen but youtube sucks so bad, it kept stopping and starting :-( I know why people put stuff there? But if you could put it on a streaming music site, it would be easier to listen to.

Gotta love the cloud :-) I saw what looked like video games images for the bit that came through on youtube, this feels like it would fit well for something like that.

Nice track Mark. Not sure about the drum kit though, seems too bland for the piece. Maybe some orchestral or ethnic percussion?

I like the string arrangement and really like the ethereal stuff going on in the background.  Kind of agree with Jamesg about the drums.

nice work Mark!  I think I agree with James on the drums, I'd like to hear some orchestral percussion - especially some timpani!

the link to soundcloud does not have this song in the set.

It is tough to blend orchestral and pop together. This is a pretty good blend though. I think there is a song in there, and a good one, but like the others, change the percussion (drop the pop parts basically) and develop the orchestral theme more as it sounded very epic. If I ever get the hang of photography, you are among the first people I am coming to talk to for music. :)

Aside from the percussion, this song fits the video quite well.  It has tension that would go well with many action scenes.

    All the best,

Great arrangement and dynamics but I'm not wild about the synth sounds.  What your using?

This is nice piece, soaring and powerful.

hey i think in terms of actual material, this might be your best yet, instantly memorable riff which could work in a number of different instrumentations (would be a great folk metal track!) you need to keep this up and set to video, would be awesome

Guys, really sorry for how long it is taking me to reply to your comments, been really busy with work.

Robby: thanks for sticking with it.

James: I absolutely agree with you regarding the drums so thanks for confirming it, I will work on that.

Doosie: thank you very much too.

Beagle: thanks for popping in for a listen. The drums does seem the main thing letting this track down.

Shad: thanks for your feedback. And I think you have got hang of photography just fine. I would be honoured to work on one of your videos.

    Thank you Eko.

Lynn: thank you very much, I really appreciate it.

Janet: thank you also, glad you liked it.

Daryl: much appreciated, the synth was just there as a filler really due to me running out of ideas. It's something from omnisphere.

Mark: thanks for listening to this too, and your nice comments.

    Nice. Action Strings?
Love the "pad" under the strings.

Pretty cool track. Could do with some epic orchestral percussion doing some booms and bangs (not necessarily without the drum kit though) but other than that I really enjoyed it.

Mark - this isn't my kind of thing - but I can appreciate any tune within a given genre if it is good - and this is really well done. I listened to the whole thing - enjoyed it all.
