We're Back

Hi Everyone,

As you have noticed our web sites have been down the past few days. This was due to trouble with Amazon's EC2 servers, the issue has been resolved and things are back to normal.

However, it is possible that some posts may have been lost between the period of backup and the outage. Please re-post as needed.

regards,

Robin

I jumped the gun here. Internally we can get to the forums but it will be approximately 2 hours before you can get to the forums. I apologize for the confusion.

I thought it was something I said, so I've been sitting in the corner, face to the wall, only moving now because my wife said it looked like the Forums are back.  Aaaaaah good, and looks like my corner punishment worked.

You might have received an RSS feed with my post and then gone to the forums only to find they were still down. That's why I posted the correction.

Anyway, glad to see everyone back!

Man, that was a few days of torture, not being able to access the forum! I hope that never happens again.

Hoorah! The forums back up!:) And though I'm glad of that, I'm still mindful that this forum software, still has issues.

Glad to see the site back up. I saw that discount offer the other day, too, and glad it's been extended., because I'm still on the fence about whether to get discs as well. Late to the upgrade party, as usual... Peace.

Well, it's barely working here -- takes forever to connect, and then I get the dreaded "There are no records to display" message as often as not. Other forums are fine, so I think I'll wait a while before I try again.

I had that dreaded message earlier also, Susan - Things still seem a bit squirrely.  Maybe that's in keeping with some squirrely new posts like that bogus "Goodbye" thread.

Earlier in the day, the link from Cakewalk's front page still wasn't working, but the email links were working.  It's all working now.  It does seem slower to load, however.
