No offline installation option. Unfortunately, that leaves me out.

Is there a way to get it downloaded on a USB stick (from an online PC) and install it to the offline PC?

I'm sure they will have a key option and a download. I think this move is pure brilliance now watch crowds mass.

I wish... Noel said that there was no option for offline authorization at this time

There seems to be a lot of people in the same situation and since Noel is aware of it, I'd be surprised if they don't make an option for the offliners.

If you don't have Internet service, you could use a cell-phone as a temporary "hot spot" (just for authorization).

Ok - if I download this and install it - I will be able to use everything I have bought up till now and by installing this app it will continue to operate in the future with everything that came with Platinum. I'm not losing anything I had before and I'm not obligated to buy anything in the future to keep the Sonar Platinum program operating properly Is the above correct?

....but, no guarantees. It should be fine Bill. You can always uninstall and keep using Platinum.

I have this recurring nightmare that Sonar comes back but only if you download a program that only uses their products but you don't realize it till it's too late and you downloaded it negating everything used up till the download and Becan is only available through the internet and taxed

Well, I just found out my phone provider doesn't allow me to piggy back my computer to it, so I guess I'm stuck. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

Are you sure ? Even on my now 2011 dead android, there was a convenient app for setting the phone up as a wifi-router ... allowing you to connect to "The Internet" from your PC via WiFi. I was recently "forced" to get an iPhone ... and i see there is something called "Personal Hotspot" on it ... which I would assume is a similar thang.

Yes on Personal Hotspot, I use it all of the time. I'm on it now to link my iPad.

That's pretty straight :) Unless your phone is locked to them, maybe you could get a cheap prepaid cash card which allows for this service ?
