So for all my worries about having to carry a dozen suitcases plus two guitars and our 2 cats, everything went amazingly well. There was a guy outside w/ a huge lift at JFK who took care of all of our suitcases. Didn't really see myself using those little tiny carrier they rent... They didn't even weight the luggages and even offered to check in my two guitars onboard - that was my biggest relief. Man, flying w/ Virgin is sweet. And those pink and purple lights almost make you feel like your in a Star Trek movie. Anyway, we're here, settling down and tuning into the vibe of the place. I think I'll be able to appreciate it. It somehow reminds me of my childhood, I don't know what it is, something 70's-ish - probably because Vegas was so glamorous and stylish to us back home in those days. But man, that sun is brutal!
