Sounds great! Really precise production, quirky, memorable vocal sound, funky keyboard playing. Drums get a little overbearing, with giant fills during vocal passages. Keep your age to yourself, or you'll never get played on college radio.

Thanks for the comments. I was never allowed to sing in any of the bands I played in. (Bad prepositions in that sentence.) I was always told, "Stay in the back with your organ, with the drummer." Got so mad, I eventually quit the gigs altogether and migrated to the studio, where I worked with a lot of great musicians and youth groups.

That was a nice listen! I got the Phil Collins sound from that too. Your band mates were idiots. They should have let you sing and improve the sound of the bands.

OK, it's working now. Love the sound of that 'Lizard Rhodes', wonderful. Don't care for the vocal sound at all, sorry.

Me too, but mine was justified. Still I don't really care what others think, when I feel like song works for me I sing but I also know when a song doesn't work for me vocally and there are few here that I ask to sing them for me. Anyway I liked all the instrumentation except the bass. The vocal was a little brittle (to my ears) but more reminded me of Jon Anderson than Phil Collins. I'm a Jon Anderson fan (maybe one of the last) so you get a thumbs up for that reason.
