Wedding song

I did this using X3.  The musicians laid down two acoustic tracks and violin. The violin player (by his own admission) wasn't all that good, so I had him track his part 4 or 5 times; cut and pasted his best parts together and used Melodyne to fix a few notes.  I thought a violin/cello duet would sound good, so I had Melodyne export the violin part as MIDI and used that as a starter for the cello.  I don't know much about playing cello, but after changing a bunch of notes and adding some velocity and volume automation I came up with something I liked and the musicians were happy with as well.  Cello and shaker were both from libraries that came with Kontakt.  The final version of the track also has a vocal part, but I think I prefer as an instrumental.

Nicely done.  Good tones and balance.  Love the violin tone and playing.

That's a pretty tune. I didn't hear anything amiss with the violin or cello, so that was nicely 'rescued'
