Weird Control Surface behavoir

Ok I have fought with my BCF2000 for the last two days...I have flashed it, reprogrammed it, loaded drivers, unloaded drives, blah, blah, blah...I can assure you there is very little i have not tried with it (including soldering a new usb port on it and discharging the rom so I COULD flash it)...

SO I finally get it to work...I had created a project called simply BCF2000...simple single audio track, single midi track...

I get to play with Mackie COntroller and "move the selected device to the top" about a hundred times...

But like I said I got it to work...worked great...

So I go back and load the original project I had when it got hosed...and no worky...

Reset everything...unload it...start with no control surface...reboot computer, restart bcf, whole 9 yards...

Works again...cool...play around with it...everything is fine...

I CHANGE NO SETTINGS AND LOAD HOSED PROJECT...

no worky bcf...

It makes no sense at all to me there are no difference in the project settings at all...yet one (after reboot) works and one does not...

Anyone make sense of this?

I'm using SOnar Platinium on a 6 core Lynx Audio machine and a ton of vintage pre-amps/eq's/comps I build for fun and sometimes money, REDD.47/API/Neve I also use the UAD stuff, and also use a Macbook Logic 9 through Apogee...

BY the way, when I do connect it to the project all of the faders move into position like it works, but it does not respond to moving the faders, they "bounce back" to whatever setting is on the screen and the play/jog buttons do not work...so it is connecting to receive data but there seems to be no send data...

You can install my plug-in to see what is going on (select "Mack..." preset from "Tweak current configuration..." on the "Options" tab). You will not be able to see some commands, like "Fader touched" (I know BCF is not sensitive, but it probably send it in any case). But you will be able to see what happens when you press buttons, either BCF response correctly on Mackie initialization, etc.
