Weird delay issue with Sonar and Nektar Impact LX61+ [solved]

Hi everyone.

Desperately need help here. (edit: wanted to post a link to the video but this is my first post in the forum)

When I play a series of chords the notes are delayed then they lose sound altogether then suddenly return with notes stumbling over each other. I've never encountered this before. Audio interface buffers have been set to low values to rule out latency issues. I asked Nektar support and they've never encountered this issue before also. The keyboard works fine OUTSIDE of Sonar in both Windows and Mac environments (tried it with Kontakt in Windows then Logic Pro in Mac).

I'm on Windows 10 Bootcamp, using M-Audio Profire 610, routed with both S/PDIF and normal XLR input/output.

Would appreciate any help here as I'm about to start on a new project. Thank you.

I tried recording a steady rhythmic pattern and the notes are either delayed or truncated, sometimes they lose sound. But when I play back what I recorded, the notes turn up okay and as I played it.

What version of SONAR are you using with your Nektar Impact LX+? I have the Impact LX25+, and I can't get the input and output ports to show up in SONAR LE 8.5. Been troubleshooting back and for with Nektar a good portion of the day, and they can't seem to tell me if my version being "LE" is the issue or not. I'm willing to upgrade to SONAR Artist, if they can assure me their DAW Integration software is compatible (and I don't have to jump to Platinum).

I'm using SONAR Platinum. The issue posted above resolved itself and I wasn't able to track how it went away. Although I do remember that the issue only appeared with old projects. New projects weren't affected at all. Never had problems with input/output ports though. Good luck!
