Weird graphic behavior while recording ?

I just started experimenting with X1 (never had such an issue with 8.5.3...)
 
When I record a track, wisual writing of the wav amplitude behaves strangely, such as showing something a huge signal writing when I don't record anything (no, nobody moved or fart besides the the mic...), or nothing while really recording a signal.
However, once the track is recorded, everything show correctly. This is really confusing...
 
I was thinking of looking up if another track would route at the same place, but this is not the case. (Btw no one out there programming X1 realized it was very useful to see at bottom of track pane whenever there's a SOLO, ARMED TRACK, or MUTED track like it was in previous versions ?...)
