Weird sound after synth freeze process

Hello,
I'm testing the demo version of Geist (Fxpansion) : After having made a rythmic pattern, I froze Geist to get the audio track : RESULT : there are transients missing or decrease in transient of the Kick drum (?). Any idea of the cause ?
I experimented similar phenomenon with a bass sound from Trillian : After having frozen Trillian, the audio rendered track was distorded !
Thanks in advance for your help !

EDIT : I don't know if there is a causal link, but now I have audio dropouts continuously! I'm really starting to get tired of Sonar !!

Pierre

Try freezing in real-time instead of fast freeze.
Some soft synths don't do well in fast freeze...

    Ah thanks gustabo !
I just heard about the Real time Bounce against the Fast bounce but after taking a look at the documentation, I presume that for freezing in real time : "You can right-click any track’s Freeze button in the Track view to open the Freeze Options dialog box."

Another possibility. In the MIDI section of preferences there's a setting for MIDI buffer size. This how far ahead Sonar reads MIDI. If the buffer is set too low then all kinds of MIDI/synth related oddities can happen. The default, for some as yet unknown reason, is 250ms which is too low for many systems (maybe most, MIDI buffer issues turn up on the forum quite often). If your MIDI buffer is set at 250 increase it to 500 and if that doesn't help try increasing it further to see if that helps.

    Sonar Platinum 64bit, Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit, I7 3770K Ivybridge, 16GB Ram, Gigabyte Z77-D3H m/board,
ATI 7750 graphics+ 1GB RAM, 2xIntel 520 series 220GB SSDs, 1 TB Samsung F3 + 1 TB WD HDDs, Seasonic fanless 460W psu, RME Fireface UFX, Focusrite Octopre.
Assorted real synths, guitars, mandolins, diatonic accordions, percussion, fx and other stuff.

Thank you very much tlw !
My Midi buffer size are actually at 250 and I will check with the values you indicate me !
If it could improve the stability of Sonar , that would be great because  all these crashes when working with soft synths is a pain, indeed !
    Thank you again !
