Weirdness with Insight Vectorscope

Here's a screenshot of Ozone's vectorscope. It looks pretty normal: the L/R balance meter at the bottom shows everything more or less in the center, the phase meter shows everything in phase, and the vectorscope shows a nice stereo spread. This reflects what I hear in the mix: a nicely-spread image.

Now here's what is ostensibly the same information as displayed in Insight's vectorscope. It shows everything coming out the left channel, no stereo dispersion and phase smack in the middle as if it was a mono signal. This odd display is the same whether Insight precedes or follows Ozone, or if it's the only plugin on the bus. It does not change if I go into mono, either by setting the bus interleave or by clicking the Mono button in Ozone.

So - am I using Insight incorrectly?

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I just checked and mine is the same...it appears that the Right Channel is being
fed to the Center meter...hence making everything go LEFT...

Working on trying to figure what the deal is here...

Thanks for verifying that, Larry. But I don't see such a setting anywhere in the Options dialog...

Just remember before the slaying have your poltice ready and be wearing your acifidity bag.  Then eat everything but the cluck.  At least that's what the Monkey's Paw signed to me.

Found it...you have to go to "Options" then "I\O" and set it to SMPTE...then it will display properly

    Good catch, Larry!

Here's what little the help pdf has to say (my emphasis):

After instantiating Insight on a surround track you may need to adjust the
channel configuration in Insight to match that of your DAW or session.
As a default Insight uses film channel configuration(L,C,R,Ls,Rs,LFE).
Other available configurations are SMPTE/ITU (L,R,C,LFE,Ls,Rs) and DTS
(L,R,Ls,Rs,C,LFE). You may adjust the channel configuration going into Insight
as well as the display order of meters from the I/O Options Tab.

Perhaps SONAR is identifying the master bus to the plugin as a Surround bus, which it isn't.

Being as that this is used for music, you'd think there would be a standard "Stereo" setting,
aside from all the Film settings...but hey...what do I know...

    I didn't have a help file, either. I downloaded it from iZotope.com.
