I've been watching my pineapple upside down cake...what's left ...waiting for it to flip.
Big thunder and storms moving in. And really just wishing the best for all those
folks being flooded out of their homes along the river.
Man I think it's time for something good to happen for a change. People been hammered enough.

I'm guessing the 6pm time to the end is based on Pacific time.....isn't that where the prophet lives? So that makes it 9 or 10 tonight...here..... timezones are so confusing to me.... I still have half my clocks set to the time before "spring ahead".... I figure they'll be right again in the fall.....

my wife said on the news last night they were interviewing him or one of his disciples or something and said that the world hadn't ended yet, so his reply was that the earthquakes would start at 6pm Pacific time and then continue through the time zones until it got full around the earth according to the time zones.

the reporter asked if God cared about time zones.

    I thought it was hilarious!

At least that's the quote I remember from Flatliners or some such movie.

There was strange rumbling here about an hour ago. The skies are slightly overcast, and there was an eerie quietness. Then this really fowl smelling stench filled the air. My dog Elvis got up from laying at my feet and left the room, giving me this forlorn look as he left the room. Turns out it was that egg salad I had for lunch yesterday.

TBH I don't understand all the piss-taking on this.

The guy had a religious belief, made a prediction that would either be prove or disprove the validity of those beliefs, and stood by it.

But never mind, at least it didn't result in a war or mass murder. There are still loads of other people persecuting or killing others in the name of religion, and that is one thing that CAN be proven.

    OH SNAP!!

You had to go there! (shifting head back and forth)

The problem is ... this guy is the kind of guy that makes people loath Christians. He is saying that he is Christian and that this is from the bible. When in actuality the bible says the opposite.

When Jesus was aksed about the end of times Jesus responded  " However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows." Mathew  24:36

no ones knows - thats what the bible says -

so ... this guy ... is one of them there called "false Christians" - and for to many people who are Chrsitains - it is a big deal

has been a big deal since the beginning of time and always will be even to those who don't  believe stuff like this will make headlines  - and I am not too happy that we have yet ANOTHER WACK JOB making the bible look crazy - some would say that's satans work right there -
as far as people being killed and murdered in the name of religion - yay - same ol same ol - thats been happening since for ever -

I mean murder - for anything - money - sex - possessions - pride - jealous -  adultery - hey - welcome to planet earth - been happening since the beginning of time - and we're not capable of saving ourselves from ourselves - soooo - God did through Jesus -  hey thats some where in that crazy book that end of times guy is mis-teaching from

    (shrugs)

    Go figure

no clue why it's such a big deal

I've just made it known that any of my congregation who weren't raptured have to come to church tomorrow.  Seriously.

(I do respect the gentleman for maintaining the integrity of his beliefs, even though my years of study and contemplation lead me to conclude that his conclusions are completely  misplaced).
