    The railroad job didn't sound fun... but it seemed like it might be a door way into an industry that seems to be strong and poised for growth as long distance trucking expenses continue to rise.

    Any luck with that?

    I called my contact back and left a message yesterday morning and this morning ... still haven't heard back. Keeping my fingers crossed he'll call back soon. I'm 99% sure he will, he basically said the job was mine if I wanted it.

    You are 100% right about the RR industry. They are putting in a third track in our area right now and expanding the local yard. I love trains (real and HO), but I'm too old to get in to it now. You have to start at the bottom and I can't handle that kind of physical labor anymore.

    Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. Everything will be ok eventually I'm sure.
