I really enjoyed that, thanks for the link Craig.
For me, one of the interesting and inspiring things he said, was when asked if it was important to be technical to be a musician. His reply, that he adopts a Victorian attitude and citing examples of famous Victorians who saw no distinction between technical and scientific know how and artistic endeavour, is to me, a real encouragement to not take too much credence internally to the oft touted contradiction of trying to both create music and engineer our own recordings.
