Very nice indeed.  Love the clarity in the recording.  What mics to do use?

Hi Steve, thanks for listening. I used a Behringer B5 pencil mic at the 12th fret in combination with the direct sound from the guitar. I'll have a listen to your effort and comment in your thread.

sounds pretty original to me, a nice little guitar étude. you could easily expand on this by adding some counterpoint lead work, but i also like it how it is...and just a Behringer mic, huh? just goes to show, if you have a decent guitar and player, the equipment is just a means to an end...

Beautiful song!  Wonderful, very fluid playing, and the rich tone of the guitar sounds fantastic.

Hi Tony, thanks for listening, glad you liked it.

Hi Mark, can you imagine how this would sound if I had a decent guitar . I'm still amazed how well my plywood guitar records. Like the idea of putting a lead over this.

Hi Bob,thanks for listening and comments, appreciated.

This sounds great to me!!! You've got some serious chops with the guitar no doubt.

This was AWESOME!!!! This is a very hard type of music to record. Doesn't matter where you put the mic. IMO. Not that I would know a lot about it.

I have one classical guitar and rarely played it before and haven't played it these days. Although I did do one tune on it.
I should mention that all I have these days is one electric guitar and one classical, I lost my acoustic. But that's just how things go sometimes you might say.

This sounds great!!!! Are you using a directional mic. or a dynamic one? Just wondering?

Sounds great to me either way.

    Excellent!!!!

    Serious Noize!

    Hello Rik,

Beautiful little 'ditty'.  I wish it was three times as long.
The Baroque influence is so refreshing.

Hi Frank, thanks for listening, cool ......

Hi Kenny, glad to provide some tranquility, chill out man ...

Hi Bobby, thanks for listening, I used a Behringer B5 small diaphragm condensor mic with an omni capsule. I place the mic about 4 inches from the 12th fret slight turned in towards the soundhole. This is combined with the di'd sound from the guitars preamp.

Hi Rick, thanks very much for listening, glad you liked the baroque influence.

    Hi Vicente, thanks for listening.

Very clean recording. This song is proof that sometimes all you need is a guitar to do the job. I enjoyed this thoroughly!
