Went to GC today...

to sell my amp and drum machine. I sold the SM 58 online, I still have to box it up and ship it.
There were a couple of >$12,000 PRSes on the top row. I wondered how much other stuff I could get for 12 grand . Sure, they looked good, and probably played good, too, but 12K?
Once I get moved, I imagine I'll be spending more time in there, drooling on the gear.

    Yes, slowly. Never put off until tomorrow what you can put off until next week.

    You must have gone to the GC on Capital Blvd.

    I saw those guitars too.  When I asked about the guitars the dude at the counter was pretty rude.  It must havve been the druel on my face that prompted the response.

    George Foreman Grill; Ginsu knifes; Clapper; Home Grown Intel i7 -6700K 16G Ram; Sonar Platinum; MOTU 896HD; Tascam US2400;

    Yes, on Capital.
    One was really beautiful, the other was kinda plain, but $100 more. ?

    Reece, he's in hog heaven. Living for free with his girlfriend's family, 3 times a week he gets to go in for dialysis where he's taken care of by pretty young nurses (just my imagination) and is allowed to sleep for 3 hours while his blood is filtered. Not having to work, sleeping as late as he wants, staying up late to watch TV.
    Frankly, I'm worried about him. I think the GF and her family will take advantage of him and get him to pay for everything with his regular disability payment, which isn't too much in the first place.
    One reason I got a 2-bedroom; I expect that someday he'll be wanting to get away from them, and the apartment is right next to Wake Medical Center and just down the road from the VA clinic.
