As you have noticed our web sites have been down the past few days. This was due to trouble with Amazon's EC2 servers, the issue has been resolved and things are back to normal.

Man, that was a few days of torture, not being able to access the forum! I hope that never happens again. Hoorah! The forums back up!:) And though I'm glad of that, I'm still mindful that this forum software, still has issues.

Well, it's barely working here -- takes forever to connect, and then I get the dreaded "There are no records to display" message as often as not. Other forums are fine, so I think I'll wait a while before I try again.

Does cakewalk have a future backup plan in place for if this happens again???
Just curious as to why people are putting stock in the cloud services when it is still a young tecnology...:)

Earlier in the day, the link from Cakewalk's front page still wasn't working, but the email links were working. It's all working now. It does seem slower to load, however. Randy B.
