What Are These Vertical Lines in My Track View?

The lines are hard to see in this screenshot (for which I hope this link works), but they run vertically the entire length of my track view.

hmmm... good question, and I thought I'd have been able to answer it, until I saw the picture. I have my vertical lines in the clip pane turned on, but they are regular and line up at the start of every measure. Yours don't look right at all. I wondering if it could be a graphics card issue?

I'll have a look at the reference guide...

There is no pic, I can see.

However I am guessing they are the pool lines that become active when you add the clips transients in the pool.

I just fixed the link.  Hopefully you can see it now.

Yes, that does indeed seem to answer that question.

@solidterry, do you recall turning them on? I can't find the keyboard shortcut for that.

I've just read the reference guide, page 621 "Using the Pool" and it covers this subject there.

    Thanks STinGA

Hi Chregg, I've just turned off my vertical grid lines and the pool lines are still visible.

To turn off the pool lines you have to select the Smart Tool and then right click on the clip who's transients have been added to the pool and then select Pool > Show pool lines which toggles them on and off.

Yup, they sure look like audio transients added to the pool, part of the Audio Snap feature set.

Thanks a lot, synkrotron!  Indeed, that's what the problem was.  Thanks also to Chregg, STinGA and stevec for your contributions to this thread.  I don't know how the lines got there in the first place.  I still struggle with AudioSnap sometimes, so maybe I accidentally did something before when I was flailing about with it... lol.  Have a great day guys!

Cheers dood, I'm glad you've sorted it.

All credit to STinGA and his supa powers... he spotted the problem with even seeing the picture lol. I just did a bit more research and learned more myself in the process.
