What I did this morning.....

I just spent the better part of 4 hours working on tax forms..... joy joy....

It's not looking pretty either.... time to go to work....well maybe just get out of the office for a while.... and forget about the money they extorted from me last year.

Dang Herb. Sorry to hear you were the victim of being extorted by someone. Perhaps you should contact someone in the government who could look into it for you? Pretty sure it's against the law to extort someone. And just when it's time for you to pay your fair share of taxes. Just a shame.

OK, I'm sorry for that bit-o-humor. Being out of work is not fun. I know, I've been there.

It has been my understanding, yes. But that may have changed in the last few years.

Good question. I'm not sure. I'll call my financial adviser and ask, he does taxes too. I hope he remembers my name, we haven't spoken in some time. LOL! :)

You MUST file, if only to "prove" you had no income. And, unemployment is considered income. The fed wants to know how you survived a whole year without income.

Welfare, social security, charity, were you a dependant on someone else's form???

There is no such thing as "no income" according to the all powerful Fed.

Sure there is. Just ask Wesley Snipes. Of course, you'll have to wait around 3 years to do that. He's.....a...busy?
