What Windows 10 and why Sonar

I purchased Sonar LE a while back and with the $50 off platinum I'm seriously considering getting it. I have two questions for users. Why should I get Sonar? I like "no dongle" and price versus features. But why do you feel Sonar is the best.

Which windows 10 should I put on my computer. Is pro worth it?  I'm going to do a clean install. I can relate to those who are staying with W7 for now. I'm trying to set up a machine which will last me for a long time.

thanks in advance.

Win 10 Pro allows you to slow down windows update so for that feature alone worth it. Google for further details.

ok, thanks. I was trying to save the extra $100 over upgrading to pro, but looks like I need it. I did a google search like you suggested and if wasn't for the lower latencies i'm reading about I'd probably stay with 8.1.

I don't have my interface yet but everything I plan on getting says it's good for 10. The only issue is my PCR-800 but I saw where someone here has a work around for it.
