So far, all I've gotten is woken up.  However, sleeping six hours straight without waking up once was definitely a present!  (I usually wake up every 90 minutes and need a drink of water or something.)

I did have to deal with the pitter-patter of little feet around 2am before I went to sleep though...  Two more racoons raiding the bird feeder downstairs.  I need to find a better way to scare them.

I bought myself one of these:

Cheap and sounds great. I've already recorded with it, using a chorus/phaser effect on the Hammond for a slow blues number. But mainly it's gonna be for live performance.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

The SGJ was my christmas present.

But despite me saying NO MORE, my wife went ahead and added:

Tons of clothes, the Osbournes DVDs, a Vincent Price DVD collection, a lava lamp for the studio, a docking station/speaker for the gym, a new external HD, and what scholars maintain is one of the most important books ever written:

    Life is good.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Dang! I do need some monitor cans. Actually dog fought the SM48 vs my Co9, the 48 is really noisy and rather weak on the high end! I'll definitely find some use for it… Maybe my and my bros's upcoming podcast.
Been walking around annoying everyone all day with my Hohner 32 Instructor, i LOVE it. finally a piano I can have anywhere that sounds like a harmonica but plays like an organ. And isn't an accordion.
This is an awesome Christmas, I got spoiled BIG time, but my 'Magic: The Gathering' obsessed brother got some shirts. I feel bad, cuz I got him a shirt.

Wooden guitar pick holder with a metal pick that says "I love you Daddy". Socks, pullover, Triumph MC tees, socks, an orange pullover (in the return pile).
Decided to get myself a Fargen Mini-Plex head W/1x12 cab. Told my wife to combine Christmas with my birthday in January (hint hint) and get me a 128g iPad Air... Going to sell some metal detectors and get some more music stuff, a G12H-30, two 2x12 cabs, a Mark V, and a Royal Atlantic... tired of getting something sort of like what I want and the years are going by quickly... Oh and a 100w Super-Sonic head. Use the 2-2x12 cabs for all four heads. Sell whatever I don't like. It is now or never... gonna do it... need/want an SM7 too...
Merry Christmas... either yesterday or next year, take your pick.

Hope all had a wonderful holiday! Looks like some nice gifts were had.

I upgraded two DAWS to the recent flagship models. One of those was the X3 upgrade. I plan to upgrade my microphones soon but decided to wait. My wife kept asking what I wanted and I told her I already had it so I ended up with a few odds and ends for the studio which I can use. I really didn't need anything else for what little I do in the studio. I ended up with  lot of those practical things like jammies and undersheddies etc, Colored and striped undersheddies are a real luxury. I'm used to simple white.

Things were pretty fast paced with playing and other activities around Christmas time so I haven't had the chance to really look at anything.

I like those after Christmas sales!
