What about notation in X3?

Hello,
can someone tell something about notation in X3? Are there any improvements or still the same since years?
I didn't found anything about notation in the "new features". Thank you.

As much as it hurts to say it, NOTATION IS DEAD IN CAKEWALK PRODUCTS! I have used Cake since Pro Audio 9 days in a studio I worked for in the late 90s. I have repeatedly begged for Cake to work on the Staff View. Here we are on X3 in 2013 and still little attention to the staff view. I keep hoping along with others here that they remedy this situation. The Staff View seems to me to be the weakest part of a program that has such great potential. As much as I hate to admit it, I think they are right when they say there are several great notation programs out there and we should check in to them. I used Finale and I currently am enjoying Notion 4 even though it has been bought by Presonus. I think Cake missed a good opportunity to maybe incorporate Notion in to their program. It just makes me sick because Cubase offers the notation in their programs with way less the features that Sonar has! What kind of market share would they get if they fixed this situation? I guess they feel it wouldn't be enough. I know that most of the users here are guys that work with loops or guys that record performers and just use the audio part of Sonar. I do, too. But there are also those of us who would like to flesh out parts for horns or string sections and we do use session guys who read. It is a universal language to us just as scientists feel mathematics are a universal language across the board. It would be so nice and time efficient for us to be able to do EVERYTHING in one program. I'm sorry to say I don't think that will happen as far as Cake is concerned. I will still continue to use it and love it for what it is.
