What actually comes with the $99 P5 2.5 download
What's up guys! Long time no see!
Well, I work at a place where I record podcasts and do some video production that needs little background beds of music sometimes, so I'm looking to gear up with some software that will help me do that. And we're on a tight budget. I used to use P5 2.0 a lot at home so I'm quite familiar with the workflow and all that. I haven't paid attention to P5 for a couple years now that I've been rockin' on Ableton Live at home, so I'm not sure what is up with this new download option of P5.
Does it come with all the stuff that came in my box version of 2.0? (Dimension, synths, effects) Or is it cut down in some fashion? The products page really has no info and is not helpful.
Are there any other DAW's you might recommend? I was interested in Reaper, but the corporate liscence is a lot more money, and I'm also looking at EnergyXT but the exchange rate for Euros makes it almost as much as P5. ACID music might be good - I'm extremely familiar with ACID Pro, but I don't think the Music edition runs vst.
I need to record audio, edit, do loops, have vst effects, and vsti instruments would be a plus. I want unlimited tracks and effects, etc.
Thanks.
