What add-on's shall I install on Bandlab version (X3 Producer User)

Today, i got a 'You are currently running a Demo Mode due to a problem with activation. Please contact support (8,99)'
The Support page offered no clues.

My assumption is that I was running Melodyne 4 (that I don't use, atm), which I don't have a licence for. I uninstalled Bandlab and all associated folders as well as X3, including H-Keys. I also uninstalled Melodyne (all versions) and deleted associated folders. I have now reinstalled X3 Producer.

If I install Bandlab again, which add on's should I install whilst keeping my registered plugin's intact and not replaced by unauthorised versions? Does the 'Instrument Suite' Affect this?

Cheers, in advance.

The addons not bundled with X3 Producer are the Drum Replacer, Theme Editor and trial version of Melodyne 4 Studio. AFAIK, none of the addons bundled with CbB require activation but I did not install Melodyne or Studio Instruments.

Cheers for the reply, scook. I did read elsewhere on these forums about uninstalling Melodyne 4 from CWbyBL, if the user didn't have a valid licence. After reinstalling CWB assistant, the check box next to M4 was ticked but faded out so I went ahead with installation. I checked my C Drive for traces of M4, and there was no evidence that it had been installed so hopefully it's okay.

Time will tell.

Here:

Melodyne 4 Studio Trial

A 30-day trial of Celemony’s award winning Melodyne 4 Studio is included free as part of Cakewalk. This will allow you to explore all the functions of Melodyne 4 studio – free of charge and without obligation, but exactly as if you'd purchased it – for a period of 30 days.Melodyne fully integrates with Cakewalk via ARA and can be applied as a region effect on clips. If you already own Melodyne 4 this installer it will update it to the latest version but won’t change your current Melodyne license.
[Update 5/4] If you own a version prior to Melodyne 4, updating using this installer will result in a loss of your license. You will need to uninstall this and reinstall your old melodyne version to regain the license.

BA stores information about what it installed in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Installers. I doubt the keys in this path are removed when BA is deleted. BA has no idea Melodyne was manually removed after it was installed using BA instead the check boxes in BA are populated based on the keys in this path.

So if I installed the Melodyne 4 add-on using the V3.08 BandLab Assistant and did not previously have Melodyne I get the 30 day trial?

Geoff Cattle, will you share the link from where you found the information you posted?  I haven't been able to locate it anywhere.
