What could cause comping offset???

What could cause comping offset???

Sonar X3.  Recorded a track. Did 5 vocal takes using an 8 bar loop. Upon playback the vocal was not in the place I sang it. For example, the first word I sang was actually at 64:01:115, but the recorded first word is located at 63:01:616.
 
How might I or Sonar have done that?

    Hi chamlin,
    I've seen behavior similar to this on occasion. For me it was always solved by turning off a record count-in and disabing External Inserts.

    Thanks, Dean. It was indeed strange behavior, and I did have "record count-in" on. No external inserts though, sounds like it's beyond my pay grade. :)    Will report back.

    you might try to process/slide it into place
