What do you think of this ZT computer

I am considering a ZT systems computer. Here is my situation... I just want to do home recording with the new Sonar 8 and don't plan on spending 1500 for a comp. What do you all think of this ZT??? I don't plan on using this for anything but for DAW. I have another computer for Documents, applications, etc. Do you think that this would be a good match for the new Sonar? I know it is a quad core which is good. It only comes with 500 gig drive but I don't plan on recording tons of music. Maybe a couple albums worth. Any feed back would be much appreciated

    Integrated graphics is not recommended.

    If you sold your old computer to a buddy for 50 bucks then you'd be able to afford an Intel quad core. You'd make your life a whole lot easier by having all your apps on the one machine.

    I hope you're not planning to use the on-board sound. The on-board video is probably not too bad if you don't play the latest games. At least it will support 2 monitors. (1 DVI and 1 D-SUB)

    ok Thank you both. On the integrated graphics part, I am not so sure I care too much, for I don't plan on using it for anything but Sonar 8. I am not into games. Having two monitors perhaps down the road would be nice, but would probably start off with just one.

    If intel quad core is much better look at this other ZT comp here. The big difference is that it comes with vista 64 as opposed to XP pro. that opens up another debate... vista or XP for DAW Sonar 8... ??? your help please...

    That's not the issue. With onboard graphics, the main processor has to constantly devote a substantial amount of its time to tasks that would otherwise have been dealt with by a graphics card. The overall performance of the system suffers as a result. For any activities that are processor intensive (not necessarily graphics-intensive), including music making, onboard graphics is bad news.

    ok so as long as i upgrade and get an external graphics card, and of course audio i should be good.... is there anything else I am missing???????
