What do you use Ableton Live for in the studio?

If I use Cakewalk Sonar Producer 8.0 for sequencing, mixing, and mastering... Reason 4.0 for synths and drum tracks... and East West Symphonic Library for orchestral samples... what could Ableton Live be used for rewired into Sonar in addition to these programs??

I don't know too much about Ableton live as I'm just getting into it, but what are its best features?  What is it best used for?  Drum samples or synths better than Reason in your opinion?

Thanks!

Ableton does it all, there are none of this update because of errors stuff, it's right from the start. And the support from my experience so far is stellar. None of this going to the forums where you have attitudes not wanting to help, just plain and simple good old fashioned assistance.

Those are my thoughts. I'm out of here. Look into it yourself. There is a reason it's called "LIVE" meaning it has features beyond and above other software for doing live performances" meaning they are being used by real musicians.

Ableton has amazing stretch to timing capabilities as well. Ableton has pretty much cornered the market for the DJ or musician who wants to use loops live, and you can also do this in the studio.

If I were to need looping features I would not use Ableton as I already have Sonar Producer X-1.....just open the matrix view or use one of several plug ins with looping capability.
