What ever happened to that dude?

Who used to post every new thread to this forum? It was kind of weird? It seems better now. More people? More perspective, etc. I hope he's OK. Merry Christmas to everyone.

"Better" is certainly an opinion anyone is entitled too form, but I find it interesting that you can perceive a "more", when it only takes a quick scroll down the first page to see where the two day old stale threads begin.

The fact that there are 1 week old threads left lingering on the first page suggests, to me, that there is "less" of everything.

This is my perspective: If someone cuts down all the alder trees in a forest and leaves all the swamp ash will it seem pertinent when an observer exclaims "wow it looks like there are more swamp ash trees than there were the last time I looked"?

Others might exclaim, "Why the heck are all of these swamp ash trees growing in the forest!? I thought they only grew on river banks!"

In these parts the analogy would be cutting down the old-growth forest and leaving only the marijuana plants.

Oh, and Larry's fine and still checks in now and again. He's just taking a break from copy-and-pasting his inbox to the Software forum.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Hi Bit, you have been told about green alder. The red alder grows in your neck of the woods too. Often times near stream banks.

He pops in occasionally  to complain so he is likely lurking. If I was a betting man I would say the smart money is on him eventually making a recovery from butthurtitis and resuming what he did. I don't  know if the forum is "better" or "worse". There certainly  are less "deals" posted.
