40 is what I call the good old days. After 50 you start living in dog years. From 50 -52 it feels like you've aged another 14 years.

Harsh, and unfair. Strangely the age doesn't make us easier to live with.

    Bub

I'm waving goodbye to 40 on Friday.
Happy Birthday, Bub. (or are you just waving at 40  ).
Thanks. Yes, I'll be 41 tomorrow. I took today and Friday off to go to Kansas City with my wife.
    60 is the new 40.
I know because man, I feel like I'm 60. My weight and general lack of caring about my health has really caught up with me the last few years.

Big changes possibly coming very soon. My wife has a job interview in Kansas City tomorrow morning so we're heading there today in a couple of hours. It all happened in couple of days and usually when things go fast like that it's a good sign. So, we're leaving in a couple hours to head down to KC and we're coming back on Sunday. Kind of a mini vacation/get away. My b'day, her b'day, and our anniversary (our 10th this year, been together 14 years total) all fall within a couple days, so we're going to go have a good time, look at some property, do some KC stuff, eat way too much, and hopefully find a left handed guitar in the $800 range. That's my limit.

    Well, better go ...
