What happened to Per-Project Audio Folders?

I'm running Platinum and am wondering why the "Use Per-Project Audio Folders" option is gone from the Preferences | File | Audio Data page.  It's really important to me that all files associated with projects are kept together without having to constantly bundle and unbundle projects.  Am I missing something like a new feature?  Why was this feature removed?  Thanks

When saving a new project there is an option "Copy all audio with project".  That's defaulted for me in Professional, but that could be because I had the per-project audio folders preference selected before.

Ah yes, I see.  So they sort of made it the default behavior.  That works.  And there's no more "consolidate audio" command I guess.  Hmmm...

    Thanks to both of you.

That thread you linked to is a very thorough explanation Craig, many thanks.  A few things have changed over the last couple years.

At some point I need to go thru my entire project hard drive and apply Craig's excellent suggestions...I'm both prolific and disorganized, a BAD combination!
