What happened to my Vista?

I went out of town for a couple of days and when I came back and fired up Sonar the windows style had changed.  Apps use to have a clear out line.  Now all apps have a light blue border.  Did windows get updated on me while I was gone?   I'm not a good computer person.  Someone clue me in.  It seems to have little effect,  but I'm curious.

    I wonder if you're talking about the outline around web page components which happens with the new versions of Firefox?  Another Forum I frequent is dedicated to web page design, and users are freaking about outlines, sometimes solid lines, sometimes dotted lines which have all been traced to Firefox.

    Hmmmm, I wish I could visualize what is going on, but it sounds like for some reason the "theme" is xp style. If you right click and go to personalize is it by any chance an old xp theme? Have to admit though I'm not the expert either.

    i7 860/MSI mobo/8GB ram/win7x64ultimate/X2/profire 610/oxygen 61/running 48k currently.

    Did another person have access to your computer while you were gone? Was your computer completely powered down while you were gone? Do you have "Automatic Updates" enabled?

    That sounds like what you get when you set for best performance ( in xp ) everything looks like it used to in Windows 2000 or XT.
