What happenend to notes I typed in per track?

In Sonar 8.5.3 I would type in notes for each track (what mike was used, preamp info and settings, etc.) I could do it right from the track pane......I'm using X1 now and I can't find any of the info that I typed in.....I go to the track tab on left AND IT'S EMPTY!
Help!
Thanks

In 8.5 and earlier the only way to take track notes was to create a Track Folder and type in notes in the folder. In X1 we've given each and every track a dedicated notes section in the Inspector. Just go to the Inspector and click the Track tab at the top, then type in whatever you need to in the Description field.

Seth: I think in 8.5.3 I would right click on the track and then type in notes, info, etc........my question is when I upgraded to X1, is the info gone? I'd hate to have to open up 8.5 for the last thirty songs I've cut and have to copy and paste everything into X1

    Thanks

If you put your notes in the "Track properties" - "Description " box they will migrate over and be there when you click on "Track" in the Inspector at the bottom under description.
