What illegal activities can you perform with Propane?

I know, odd question.

I don't get much traffic on the road I live on. Maybe 4 ~ 5 cars a day if that? So far in the last few months I've noticed 3 deliveries of Propane to my neighbors farm. We're not talking little gas grill tanks, we're talking those big bubble looking trucks. He doesn't have a grain bin so he's not using it to dry corn, and they have a gas grill with a tank on, and it's been 115 on average here the month of July so I know he's not heating his house with it.

So what the heck are they doing with all that Propane? What's even odder is, we have a natural gas pipeline that runs in the ditch right in front of our houses. He could easily have his house hooked up to it and converted.

Any ideas? Meth, bombs for al quada, another Mcveigh?

Mmmmm...Propane Ice Cream is much better than Amateurpane Ice Cream. 

The use that immediately springs to mind is as a heat source for distilling moonshine. Is that even economically competitive in a modern agrarian society where the profit margins of growing cannabis or cooking meth make it look like a quaint folk practice?

That is used to scare birds away. The same guy who has the monthly propane deliveries put one right across the street and pointed it straight at my house. Broke two of the three panes of glass in my bay window from 300 feet away.

He is pissed because we bought an acreage of a farm that was subdivided. He didn't want people out here so he's been doing stuff like that to us and the neighbors for the last ... oh ... 9 years? Stealing garbage cans, smashing mailboxes, shooting at our houses with a BB gun, childish crap. I told him if he didn't want people living here he should have bought the land.

He threatened to kill his wife and family so they kicked him out, now he lives in a one room apartment in town and you see him drive by every once in a while. His daddy owns the land and kicked him out and let his wife and kids stay. That's gotta grind your gears eh? LOL!

That's why I just don't go over and ask questions ... it's best to avoid people like that. I'll probably be sitting here one night and the windows will completely blow out of my house and I'll find out his kids have a meth lab over there that exploded.

Some rich and interesting characters out here in the heart land. :) And to think, I moved 1,200 miles to get away from this. LOL!!

@starise: I'm certain it's a propane truck, but you are right, those trucks are very similar.

Well, I didn't see them drop off any propane accessories so I don't think it's him. :)

BTW ... one of the greatest games of all time.

There used to be a web site called Bertram's Lair. It was chock full of RNR stuff, sound samples, graphics, add-on cuss pak.

I read that a company that makes games for the PS3 bought the rights to the RNR franchise a couple of years ago. No reason to do that unless you are planning on continuing the game because it won't run on anything after Win98. :(
